First call for ITC Conference Grant Applications (Grant period 1 Nov 2019 - 30 April 2020)print
ITC Conference Grants are aimed at supporting PhD students and ECI researchers from Participating ITC to attend international science and technology related conferences not specifically organized by the COST Action. An applicant can be considered as being an ECI when the time that has elapsed between the award date of the applicants PhD and the date of the applicants first involvement in the COST Action CA18201 does not exceed 8 years.
Conference Grants are exclusively reserved for PhD students, PhD candidates and ECI’s with a primary affiliation in an institution located in an ITC participating in the Action.
The applicant must make an oral/poster presentation at the conference in question and must be listed in the official event/conference programme. The main subject of the oral presentation / poster presentation / speech at the approved conference must be on the topic of the Action and must acknowledge COST (see Cost Vademecum Section 10).
Priority will be given to oral presentations over poster presentations.
The submission for ITC conference grants should be made after the abstract has been approved by the conference organizers.
The application process
Applicants must carefully read the funding rules detailed in Section 7 of the COST Vademecum. This document is available at: http://www.cost.eu/participate.
Applicants must submit the application using an e-COST profile at https://e-services.cost.eu/and provide the details of bank account into which a grant would be made if ITC conference application is approved and completed successfuly.

Aplicants must send the following documents (in a single PDF) to the members of ITC Conference Grants Comission Prof. Govianna Aronne (Giovanna.firstname.lastname@example.org), Dr. Aida Dervishi (email@example.com), Prof. Maja Lazarević (firstname.lastname@example.org) before the deadline 10.02.2020:
- The submitted ITC application form
- A full CV, including recent publications
Additionally (if available):
- Full paper accepted or published in the Conference Proceedings
- The most recent conference booklet or leaflet / conference program (especially if the Applicant is listed) or the confirmation of abstract acceptance
In order to facilitate the ITC grand process the applicants are encoraged to submit abstracts at the conference EcoFlor 2020 http://ecoflor2020.weebly.com/. In such case the applicants have to mention on the conference registration form explicitely the comment „I have applied for an ITC conference grant through COST Action CA18201 Conserve Plants“.
